Public tours available daily at 10:00 am & 2:00 pm.

  • Description:

    • This free downtown museum is hidden and overlooked gem that is brimming with treasures if you just know where to look. Most native Phoenicians haven't visited this museum since their fifth grade field trip, and most have long forgotten its existence. Don't make that same mistake: the Arizona Capitol Museum contains such treasures as paintings by cowboy artist Lon Megargee, chunks of the original USS Arizona recovered from Pearl Harbor, historic photographs, and other Arizona-related memorabilia. Group tours can be scheduled in advance, and there is a neat gift shop selling local products.
