• Downtown Phoenix's cultural center resides in this concentrated section that covers approximately 90 square blocks of fine restaurants and shopping experiences. Go easy on the feet and utilize the many "Dash" bus stops in this district's core. The area also contains the historic Orpheum Theatre and several museums including the Arizona Museum of Science and Technology. One bustling hotbed of interesting shops, clubs and fine restaurants is the popular Arizona Center. Apparel and southwestern gift shops coexist with fine jewelry stores and merchants with leather accessories. Located between Third and Fifth streets and north of Van Buren street, the place is frequented by many young business professionals, and is also a favorite nightspot.
