  • In Phuket there are always cool things to do - on and off the island and whether it's raining or the sun is shining. With plenty of activity and new friends to be found, Patong Beach is a popular spot for those seeking a fun-filled day. South East Asia Liveboards Co. is one of the first and largest dive companies in Phuket. It specializes in trips to Racha Yai, Shark Point and the wreck of the King Cruiser (sunk in 1997). Surin Beach is a popular weekend spot, often visited by locals. It's long and uncluttered, with a beautiful grass picnic area shaded by casuarina trees. Dolphin Park (also known as Loma Park) is situated at the north end of the Patong and is a popular destination for recreation. Khao Phra Thaeo Wildlife Sanctuary has the only remaining virgin rainforest on the island. For an active day or a lazy afternoon, Phuket has cool things to do to fit any itinerary.
