  • If you're looking for five-star restaurants in Phuket, you won't be disappointed. The city is full of luxury eateries offering the best of Asian and Western cuisine. Piano bars, tables right on the sand and breathtaking views of the sea make for a romantic night out that'll be hard to forget.

The Baan Rim Pa restaurant group is actually a set of three restaurants set right next to each other. The group consists of Baan Rim Pa, Joes Downstairs and Da Maurizio. Baan Rim Pa is special because it offers "royal dishes," made from recipes once exclusively served in the Grand Palace of Thailand. Nothing more romantic that a dinner that makes you feel like royalty, especially when served right on a cliff over Patong Bay.

Another romantic restaurant in Phuket is Navrang Mahal. This small, cozy restaurant has a rustic décor and a huge variety of Indian dishes you won't find anywhere else in the city. The restaurant offers both outdoor and indoor seating, depending on how private you want your table to be.

If unique is what you're after, The Red Room wins over the competition, hands down. A mix of Japanese and French culinary traditions, this restaurant offers exquisite dishes like "Wild Mushroom Cream Soup Perfumed with Black Truffle Oil." The lounge area is cozy and utterly romantic, but there's also an additional room where you can watch sports in style. Forget greasy, uncomfortable seats. Here the large screens are surrounded by fluffy couches and fine cocktails.
