Phuket Fantasea is a new theme park complex that promises to be the ultimate nighttime entertainment venue on the island. Rawai Beach is known locally as Haad Rawai and is located 20 minutes south of town. It's a palm-fringed beach best known for it gathering of "Chao Le" people, the "Sea Gypsies" who pursue a nomadic fishing life and are believed to be of Melanesian descent.
