Description:
The Karon is the only hotel right on Karon Bay. Just a few minutes away from some of the best beaches in Phuket, the hotel is nonetheless tucked away in its own corner of paradise. The hotel describes itself as "modern Asian" and is a nice break from the cookie-cutter furnishings you find in other 4-star hotels in the area. Expect lots of dark woods, silks and airy rooms. All rooms have balconies or terraces facing either the pool or the ocean. Breakfast can be delivered to your room or you can choose to eat it at the hotel's café, which overlooks the ocean. There's a large outdoor pool and a number of services available, including babysitting, currency exchange and a spa.
