Informal but chic, Acqua is the ideal destination for those who want elegance without the high prices and pomposity found in other high-end eateries in Phuket. Patrons can try traditional pasta dishes, such as the "Risotto with smoked Pecorino Fiore Sardo, pancetta and broad beans" or the "Black truffle paste risotto with wild asparagus and seared scallops" or go for a wood-fired pizza with toppings such as fresh ricotta cheese and capers. Popular main courses include the "Fillet of seabass cooked in Vermentino wine, with fresh artichokes, Potatoes, cherry tomatoes and capers" and the "Grilled Prime black Angus rib eye with roast potatoes and grilled oysters mushrooms." Their extensive wine list offers selections from around the world, including a 2001 Italian Brunello di Montalcino "Biondi Santi" and a wide variety of organic reds and whites from Australia.
