- The Albatross Cafe & Pub is an eatery with a twist. The café belongs to the Albatross travel agency next door, so the walls are decorated with advertising for tours, equipment rental and other travel services. Most of the advertising is discrete (think pretty posters rather than lists of prices), so don't let this discourage you from visiting. The Albatross has an outdoor terrace that opens right over the water, offering great views and a gentle sea breeze no matter what time of the day you visit. Food served includes appetizers, traditional Thai dishes (the Pa Nang Shrimp or Chicken in Curry and Coconut milk is a favorite), seafood and rice and noodles. The priciest item on the menu is the Filet Mignon served with French Fries or Baby Potatoes, which sells for 55o baht (about U$20).
