- Mor Mudong is located right inside the mangrove forest outside of Phuket town, near the zoo. Rather than being organized as a single building with tables, Mor Mudong is separated into small huts spread throughout the mangrove forest. This not only contributes to the mystic of the setting, but also allows for more privacy and quiet. The food here is authentic, very spicy Thai. Lots of seafood, but also one-of-a-kind choices like stingray and wasp larvae. Probably the only minus of the place is getting to the place, since it can only be reached by taxi.
