• The Phuket Seashell Museum, located in the basement of a seashell shop, offers a small but striking collection of marine fossils. Besides the many small shells, you'll also find giant clams, fossils and pearls. The world's biggest golden pearl (a very rare variety) is in exhibit here, and you'll also find plenty of shells, corals and more. The gift shop sells seashells and other marine souvenirs. Although you can pick up many simple shells on the beach, the museum's shop offers unique pieces you're unlikely to find on your own.
