- Before Khalil's II opened, chef Mikhail Khalil spent 12 years as a chef at the restaurant's predecessor at the same Shadyside site. Khalil broils and grills the majority of the food, which encompasses traditional Middle Eastern cuisine. Favorites are shishkabob and Samket el Pasha. There is a full-service bar and wine list. Banquet facilities will accomodate up to 125 people.
