Description:

  • The Smallman Street Deli has incorporated old fashioned decor with fresh food and service. Pipes, ducts and conduits are exposed throughout the interior, barrels serve as tables, and there are no chairs. If you can stand long enough, you will love the stacked deli sandwiches. There is no skimping on corned beef or ham at this place. Try the chicken soup with matzo balls and the potato pancakes. There is also a retail counter that stocks dozens of meats and cheeses, as well as steaks, veal and lamb.

    Not what I hoped

  • Ate at one on Murray ave. the staff was very helpful, but wait was quite long. Soup was good, corned beef not great. Will probably give it another chance, but not soon.
