Description:
- The community flocks to Schenley Park, a green oasis in the midst of a bustling city, for concerts, plays and movies. Phipps Conservatory is located on the northern end of the park, which is set between Oakland and Squirrel Hill, close to Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh. Hikers love the winding trails and children gather at the swimming pool during summer. In the winter, visitors can ice skate at the rink or cross-country ski. There's also an 18-hole public golf course.
