On November 20th, 2011, the 3rd Annual Taste of Playa food & wine festival will be held. The event will be in Parque Fundadores, a beachfront park located on Playa del Carmen's famed Avenida La Quinta (5th Avenue), at Juarez Avenue. For those of you familiar with Playa del Carmen, Parque Fundadores is the park that lies between the chapel and the ferry dock and is just a few yards from the ADO bus terminal.Local restaurants will have stands set up where you can sample their food and wine. VIP Passes and "Taste of Playa Pesos" (individual sampling tokens) may be purchased in advance, online.
