- Balabanov house was built at the beginning of the XIX century by Haji Panayot Lampsha, Bulgarian native of Plovdiv. He was a rich merchant and usurer, a member of the guild kaftandzhiyskiya. According Karavelov Panayot Hadji is one of the most eminent merchants Plovdiv in the middle of XIX century. At the beginning of XX century it its last owner - Luke Balabanov trader and the family comes and u popular name, which is known today.
