Pilgrim Sands on Long Beach

• This attractive motel sits directly on its own beach 3 miles south of town, within walking distance of Plimoth Plantation. An excellent choice if you want to avoid the bustle of downtown, the well-maintained, regularly updated property also has an indoor and an outdoor pool. The good-size guest rooms are tastefully furnished and well maintained; all but four are set aside for nonsmokers. Most have two double or queen beds. The helpful staff and amenities, including Wi-Fi throughout, make the Pilgrim Sands popular with business travelers as well as vacationers. If you can swing it, book a beachfront room -- the view is worth the money, especially when the surf is rough.
