Lobster Hut

Description:

• A busy self-service restaurant with a great view, the Lobster Hut is popular with both sightseers and, despite its touristy location, hungry locals. Order and pick up at the counter, then head to an indoor table or out onto the large deck that overlooks the action on the bay. This isn't an elegant place, but the food is ultra-fresh and expertly prepared. To start, try clam chowder or lobster bisque. The seafood rolls (hot dog buns with your choice of filling) are excellent. The many fried seafood options include clams, scallops, shrimp, and haddock. You can also opt for broiled fish and shellfish, burgers, chicken tenders -- or lobster, of course. Beer and wine are served, but only with meals.
