Located in courtyard set off the main drag, the atmosphere at Ulixes is softened by indirect lighting on the brick walls of surrounding buildings, olive trees, soft background music, and cats that make the rounds looking for handouts. When you order, however, stick with fish dishes, which are competently prepared, or try a pasta like fuzi with prsut or fuzi with game. Warning: Grilled meat can be grisly and tough, and portions are on the small side, even for Croatia.
