Okeechobee Southwest

Description:

• Okeechobee Southwest begins at Sportsman's Village along State Route 78. Much of this route offers expansive wetland views. Anglers find this southwestern region particularly rewarding. One of the more enjoyable vistas is where the Caloosahatchee River flows into the lake. The trail terminates at the floodgate in the town of Clewiston at the US 27 Bridge.
  
  The route begins in Sportsman Village, north of Moore Haven Recreation Area located along State Route 78, southwestern region.
