    • If you do not mind sharing a bathroom and making your calls from a pay phone in the lobby, then you cannot beat this hostel for price and convenience. Choose from a bunk in a dormitory room or one of two private family rooms. The common areas are spacious and cheerful, with a big dining table, kitchen facilities, a luxurious front porch and a huge new deck overlooking the backyard. And it is only going to get better. Walk to all the Hawthorne area attractions. Dorm beds from $16 and private rooms from $35 depending on the season.

      great hostel in nice location.

    • this is one of my fav. hostels. stayed there 6 nights,. mixed dorm is downstairs. was able to reserve a lower bunk. clean bathrooms. nice kitchen, albeit small. converted house....

      Private Room Was Great

    • I stayed earlier this month...first in the upstairs private room, then moved to the female dorms due to a busy weekend at the hostel. I loved the private room at the top of the stairs....
