Sellwood, located in Southeast Portland, is a charming place to visit once you're finished with the bustle of downtown. The Sellwood Antique District is best explored on foot for an afternoon. The main drag in Sellwood has many cool local shops and restaurants to peruse, including one of the best Thai restaurants in Portland- Thai Lhanna. This unique area of Portland is best known for the amazing antique stores that attract locals and tourists alike. With coffee shops and bookstores abound, this quiet area is well worth a look. Many of the shops and restaurants have been in Sellwood for many generations, as this area of Portland has a distinctly strong sense of community. On a nice day, the Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge is an easy and fun way to spend an afternoon.
