Republic Cafe and Ming Lounge

Description:

  • The shrimp is undeniably the best thing about this quaint Chinatown restaurant. Whether you prefer it spicy or tame, it is prepared in every imaginable way, and you can indulge for about $8. If you are not a shrimp lover, there are a variety of other Szechuan and Asian dishes on the extensive menu. Try a Chinese beer with your meal, or eat in the lounge. The restaurant is decorated with traditional Chinese flair and an abundance of bamboo. Private parties are welcomed in the banquet room.
