Description:
- Mazama Trail starts in managed forest on the ridge above Ladd Creek with Mt. Hood towering in the background. The trial switches back up through a talus slope, then up a steep ridge. Then it follows Cathedral Ridge through dense forest, which opens to flowered glades near the junction with the Timberline Trail. The Mazamas reconstructed this trail for their 100th anniversary.
