Sacajawea Park - Portland

  • Description:

    • This semi-developed park is named after the woman who led Lewis and Clark to Oregon. Sacajawea was the Native American married to the expedition's French guide, Toussaint Charbonneau. The Shoshone Indian ended up leading the way. Close to the airport, this park is a good place to stretch your legs after a long flight. Full of open space, it is also a great place to spread out and relax, although it is not the best summer park—you will not find much shade. There are no fees to use the park.
