Salmon Festival - Portland

  • Description:

    • This festival at Oxbow Regional Park celebrates the annual spawning of native fall Chinook salmon in the Sandy River. Events such as Native American storytelling and traditional music mix seamlessly with hands-on fish anatomy exhibits and spawning observations at river edge viewing points. October can be a wet and muddy month in the park, especially along the river; do not forget your rain gear and a pair of boots. The entrance fee is $8 per car. Free shuttles are available for activies throughout the park. Pets are not allowed.
