It was built in 1154; however after the destruction caused by the Second World War, renovation of this church was carried out and remnants of a small chapel were recovered. Since then Chiesa di San Giorgio too has been reconstructed and refurbished several times. While you are touring Portofino and the nearby tourist attractions, do visit this Romanesque church.
