Description:
The finest restaurant to open since before World War II is also romantically scenic and tranquil in addition to serving the city's finest gourmet cuisine. In winter a fireplace blazes, with summer guests retreating to an open-air terrace to enjoy the breezes. The cuisine is market fresh, creative, and wonderfully delicate, though you pay a lot for what you get. Even though operating in an inland city, the chefs seem to obtain remarkably fresh-tasting fish such as seabass or halibut. The menu frequently changes so we can't recommend any specialties but the chefs seem skilled at all they turn out, especially if inspired by the Mediterranean kitchen. Perhaps you'll sample such delights as sturgeon, goose liver, breast of pigeon, or lobster.
