The Best of NileGuide
Gosh is it hard to pick our top 10 bars. Not that, we are such out-and-about people, however depending on our mood, season, company, etc. there's a wide range of places we love to go. So we've decided to recommend a variety of different places for very specific reasons - that way, no matter your mood, you'll know just where to go!

Let's start with beer. You want some, and you want it Czech and authentic. Can't get much more au natural than U Zlateho tygra. Get there when they open if you really want a seat. U pinkasu is another beer hall favorite, while the George and Dragon is where to head for a British pint, meal or to watch some sports.

If you are looking for an authentic experience, head to U Sudu's many underground floors. Cheap wine is a specialty here. On the other end of the classy scale is Tretter's, a cocktail bar where you should dress to impress. Tom's Bar is sophisticated as well, located in the Augustine Hotel; they have a gorgeous interior, plus super garden.

If it's cocktails you are after it's a toss-up between Repete, cheap and full of locals, or Hemingway, a bit quieter and laidback. And for an all round good time, either head to Bukowski's in Prague 3 for cocktails with a lively atmosphere, or Café Konvikt for lots of beer and Czech food.
