Charles Bridge is the iconic landmark in Prague. Staying at a hotel near Charles Bridge puts you in a central location with close access to both Prague Castle and the Old Town. For a quieter stay, we recommend staying on the Mala Strata side of the river, under the Castle.
The Aria Hotel will be music to your ears with its composer/musician themed rooms and gorgeous rooftop bar. The Golden Well Hotel consistently wins awards for its fabulous service - and the building itself isn't half bad either. For a quiet stay on Kampa Island, choose the Best Western Hotel Kampa. The Castle Steps offers both apartments and rooms, with lots of antiques and great views.
If it is beautiful design you crave, a stay at the Mandarin Oriental is a must. The building has been lovingly preserved and reconstructed and each room and floor offers something a bit different. The Hotel Hoffmeister is close to the Castle and has a great terrace. If you plan a longer stay, and must be really close to the Charles Bridge, chose the Amour Hotel Residence, right next to St. Nicholas Cathedral. The Bridge itself is practically on the doorstep of the Charles Bridge Residence.
On the Old Town side of the Vltava River, you can't go wrong with the Four Seasons - normally the famous people's hotel of choice while in Prague. For a more affordable stay, the Borsov Pension is a quiet, clean place.
