Description:
Off a small, secluded square in Old Town, this casual French country restaurant attracts a young French Embassy crowd and is a good option for post-theater or late dining. On the menu are large portions of salmon and beef tips, tangy soups, cold appetizers like thinly sliced marinated salmon, and unique salads. There's also steak and fries for those who don't want to venture into the chalkboard's daily specials. There's a little more room to breathe here than at La Provence, but the menu isn't as eclectic. Chez Marcel is affiliated with the Brasserie Le Molière in Vinohrady, which offers an even wider selection of daily specials.
