- Broke and Hungry? Just Cheap and Hungry? Eat at one of countless Chinese resturaunts in and around Prague. They are not all owned by the same people, but there seems to be a consistency in pricing, menu choices and ingredients that would make a worldwide burger chain envious. They all seem to offer hot, fresh ingredients cooked to order and for about 60-100Kc, or $3 to $5 per plate (the same or less than a fast food chain, and infinitely better). I would tell you I like the one in Lazarska the best, or maybe Karlovy Namesti, but it doesn't matter really, all the ones I have tried are similar in price and quality. And you can't swing a dead cat without hitting one. (No Pun Intended). Nothing authentic, in fact I am not sure the owners are not actually Vietnamese. But it is good, food, cheap. Period.
