- I am a foodie, but I am not a food snob. I generally love cheap, local, fast food served all hours of night with no atmosphere or service that resembles common human decency. I dont mind standing next to a dumpster in South Philly to experience a great cheese steak. I will gladly slip on a greasy sidewalk in Chinatown to acquire good lo mien. With that being said, the klobasa stands on Wenceslas Square are an abomination. The food is sub par, with over-warmed sausages, dehydrated chicken, ungodly fried cheese sandwiches and hamburgers that require exorsism. All served by thieving Eastern Slavic vendors which will likely glom your change if you even resemble a Westerner. Ńo matter how drunk you get, keep stumbling until you get to somewhere else. KFC or McDonald's, as much as it pains me to say this, are better and open late or all night in Wenceslas Square. Better yet, there are pizza places open all night serving gyros and fresh pies right in front of the tram stops.
