- This IS your sister's chi chi variety Thai fusion. (Unless, of course your sister is from Thailand) We are talking Carrot and Spinach soups served with rolls and garlic butter here. Italian and and Continental inspired entrees and American desserts. They do make some agreeable Thai dishes, with a passable Pad Thai, an aromatic, but perhaps muzzed red curry and a completly pleasant but forgettable Tom Kha Kai. Not to say this place, or even this concept is bad. It is certainly preferable in athmosphere, and menu variety to Siam Orchid and appeals to a more various crowd. They have nice cocktail hour, an interesting early drinking crowd, and nice filling food with minimally adequate service. Smoking is allowed but the ceilings are high so it is bearable. Lunch specials start around 100Kc and regular menu starts in the 150Kc and goes as high as 250Kc, or a large steak singularly in the 400's. For those who love to eat outdoors, there is a patio in the warm months, but the street is not that quiet and trams and fumes will ruin the meal in my estimation.
