User Review:
- Lucerna is a complex of stores, cafes, music venues, ballrooms, shops, resturaunts and the most ornate and magnificent cinemas in Europe. Significant architecture and artwork abound. It is basically in Wenceslas Square in the Center of Prague 1. It was built by the family of playright/ dissident/ president/ statesman/ Václav Hável and a bust of his grandfather is atop the starwell, seemingly gazing at St Vaclav on David Černy's famed dead horse statue. Sounds expensive, right? Its is not. Last night I saw a feature film, had cake and coffee and spent 160 Kc, less than the price of just the ticket for the same film in a generic theatre 1 block away.
