Description:
- Close to the busy intersection of Narodni and Na Perstyne, Monarch stocks a range of wines from around the world as well as ports and some spirits. The first room of the shop is dedicated to Czech wine. The wood shelves carry wines from both Moravia and Bohemia taken from the better vineyards such as Mikulov. There is a barrel beside the cash desk where three or four different bottles are available for tasting everyday. The wines from the rest of the world are displayed at the back of the shop. The choice here is not quite as eclectic as that provided by other purveyors in the city but includes wine from France, Chile and Australia.
