    • One would think that a city with such amazing architecture and high culture would have amazing art museums as well. Furthermore, if one were to stumble upon Wenceslas Square and look up, one would see a seductive structure called The National Museum, it would seem reasonable that it was filled with beautiful art. It isn't. The structure itself is the only worthy art piece. The museum is filled with rocks, scientific artifacts and archeological finds. Interesting to the interested, but don't go there thinking its filled with priceless art. Think Museum of Natural History, not La Louvre. If you want a digestible portion of interesting art, skip Narodní muzeum, and go down one block to the Mucha, then to The Museum of Communism. You will go home talking about those, even if they scream 'tourist trap'. Hungry for something a little higher 'brow'? Other side of the river, National Gallery or Lobcowicz Palace (The Princely Collection)
