User Review:
- Seven years after Columbus sailed the ocean blue, U Fleků opened and started selling beer, its true. Has not stopped operating since. Oldest continuously operating brewery in Europe. (Others were founded earlier but closed for spells.) It is by all means, a tourist destination and is priced accordingly. But the beer is great and you don't even have to order it. It just comes. You will find tourists of all countries singing anthems along with the tuba and accordian players, and will eat high quality traditional czech food at prices high for locals, but relatively reasonable for Europe. Beer is 70Kc, soups are 60Kc and entrees from 150-400Kc. Very few unaccompianied locals at those prices.
