- Prague is not a 'museum town' on the level of Paris, Florence, Rome or New York. The best art in this town is outside and free, just look up a the buildings. That is not to say there are no unique curated experiences here. The Museum of Communism is one must see. The brainchild of an American capitalist, this is a perfect use of two hours indoors in Prague. It gives an excellent perspective of what it was like to live under totalitarianism for 40 years. It is behind the McDonalds and next to a casino at the bottom of Wenceslas. Combine it with the Mucha one rainy or windy day and you will be talking about both when you get home.
