User Review:
- Václav Havel is the George Washington, Nelson Mandela, William Shakespeare and Mick Jagger of the Czech Republic, all rolled into one. And he is still alive, walking the streets of Prague. He is a playwright and dramatist, a former imprisoned dissident, a velvet revolutionary and the first democratically elected President of the Czech Republic. He is the only Head of State and Goverment I can think of who never joined a Political Party. This exhibit in Kampa (below the Charles Bridge) is a tribute to his life work and is worth a visit.
