Public Question Asked by NileGuide about Prague

I'm a single guy in my 40's coming to visit in September from the U.S.. Are there interesting artist districts where one can stay and hang out for a week that are not touristy or pretentious? I also want to do some hiking and exploring and I love to eat good local food? Can you give me some tips?

Hi. I'd try to stay somewhere in Czech Paradise, it's nice area and a lot of sightseeing too, but you'd need to rent a car probably:

Best local food restaurant I have ever been here is Dačický restaurant in Kutná Hora. It has style and the food is really great, from soups to main dishes. Traditional czech cuisine in its best. Also, besides St. Barbora cathedral, surrounding region, generaly in south-west region is very nice and pleasant and ideal for hiking. If you need a company for a day or two, just let me know, I should have some time in september, at least I think so ;) have a nice day!
