Public Question Asked by NileGuide about Prague
We want to come in Sept. to Prague. Am very interested in St. Wencelas Music Festival. Is it a good idea to plan around that?

Yes! St. Wencelas is our main patron saint and his day is on 28.9. Czech people love to celebrate (as we say even friday is a "small Saturday" :-). The events and celebration starts weeks ahead and continue week later. There are various programs - fresh food markets, wine harvesting, sacred music, folk festivals ... There are various programs in Prague and also in the countryside. I recommend to search the internet and come ready, but also check the local info centre for the current info. Remember the most complete programs for 2011 will be issued later ... in July- August. Some events do not have internet presentation.
