IMO, skip National Museum, Cabarets, Karlovo Lazný and Absinthe bars.

for me - the Astronomical clock "hourly show" is disappointing .. the clock itself is wonderful and if you feel up to it (although there is a lift) make your way to the top ..and revel in the view.
Agree about Absinthe too ..and the National Museum.

I am always amused that people stand in front of the clock and check their watches and cell phones for when waiting for the show to start. They are staring at a clock and wondering what time it is!
