There is a public transport information desk in the Domestic Arrivals public concourse. The taxi rank is situated outside the arrivals area. The journey to the centre of Johannesburg should take between 30 and 45 minutes. For groups of up to 12 passengers, there is a minibus service from the same location.

Most of the major hotels operate shuttle services, but these need to be booked in advance (or called from the airport). Private bus companies operate services to the city centre and other areas. Information and tickets are available at their company desks in the International arrivals hall. The bus journey to the centre should take around 40 minutes.
