  • The Voortrekker Monument Museum is inside the Voortrekker Monument. The museum tells the story of how the Voortrekkers carried on with their daily activities, with a focus on the their lifestyles, as well as life in the interior after the Great Trek that took place between 1835 and 1852. Set on top of a hill, the museum has a breathtaking view of Pretoria. Photos, ornaments and equipment of the Boers (white Afrikaner speaking people) are also sold.
