  • The Crest offers the best views in town, good dining, and beautifully furnished, though not expansive, rooms. Situated on the bluff's edge overlooking Tuck Inlet, Metlakatla Pass, and the harbor, this is one of the finest hotels in northern British Columbia. The rooms feature quality furniture, feather duvets, and a relaxed stylishness. Standard rooms come with either two doubles or one queen-size bed; suites feature king-size beds. The wood-paneled lobby and common rooms are opulent, and it's hard to imagine more impressive views anywhere than from the jutting outdoor hot tub and the well-equipped fitness room. The staff will happily set you up with fishing charters and wildlife-viewing trips. The Waterfront Restaurant is the best in town, and Charley's Lounge, with a heated deck, has the city's best year-round view from a bar stool.
