- In 1969, Robert Redford founded the Sundance Resort. This beautiful alpine retreat merges art and recreation while preserving the natural landscape. The hub of the Sundance Resort is Sundance village, complete with guest cottages, mountain homes, restaurants, artisan center and spacious conference facilities.
