  • Puebla is synonym of Mexican Food. Some of the worldwide dishes recognized and presented as Mexicans were actually created in Puebla: Mole, Chiles en Nogada, Chalupas and more!

So it's logical this city has great places to eat, have dinner, breakfast and even dessert. This Top 10 list of Best Places to Eat Mexican Food in Puebla has a little bit of everything. For breakfast? The best place in town is Los Almuerzos, a crowded little place with the best (and safest for all of you who don't wanna risk eating in the street) "antojitos", or delicious dishes composed by a variety of food, so you can try a little bit of everything.

For dinner, La Noria, Mi Ciudad and La Fonda de Santa Clara are the best. Each one has something unique, in La Noria you could spend the whole afternoon, Mi Ciudad is fun and La Fonda is traditional.

Do you still have room for dessert? Las Nieves del Carmen are famous for being the best ice cream in Puebla, except they're not made out of cream, but water, so they're refreshing and with crazy flavors such as chili, tamarindo, jamaica and more.

The Tacos Arabes are in whole different group. Though they're not Mexican Food per se, they can only be found in Puebla, and they're tacos, so on a second thought, they ARE mexican food.
