Puebla is not the most cosmopolitan city in Mexico, but that doesn't mean there are not good restaurants in town. This is the Top 10 list of the 5 Stars Restaurants un Puebla, or at list those that in the writer's humble opinion, should have 5 stars.
Pasta, fondue, steaks, incredible aromas, tasty wine, elegant people, doesn't all sounds great? Puebla is great place to sightseen, but after all that culture you deserve a great meal, let's call it an indulgence. And that's when this list comes in handy, for you don't have to search no more, these are the best options in Puebla, and there is surely something for everybody.
La Conjura is a Spanish cuisine restaurant set in a romantic atmosphere, the perfect finish touch for a perfect day in downtown. Alfredo di Roma, la Piccola Italia and Donato Cammarano are Italian food restaurants, but each different. The first one is a franchise of the famous restaurant with the same name in Rome, Italy. La Piccola Italia is a long lasting family restaurant with an amazing view of the city, and the last one is the newest, and though it's not in an ideal setting (it's in a mall) the food is great.
La Noria is a Mexican modern cuisine set in what used to be an old hacienda, great food, great atmosphere and a beautiful setting. El Aguila Negra is a German restaurant with amazing food, there is really nothing else to say about that place, except the beer is almost as exceptional as the dishes.
If you like steakhouses, El Parrillaje and La Estancia Argentina are for you. El Parrillaje is the place to go right now, it fashionable. La Estancia Argentina is, as its name suggests, an Argentinian place with great meat and great wine.
La Route de Vins appears twice on the list, because even though the French food is just as well in both, the La Paz premisses is more romantic, while the Huexotitla one is more for a friendly night.
