Description:
This restaurant covers all the bases: good food, attentive service, comfortable furniture, and attractive surroundings. The menu has some dishes you just can't miss, such as a seafood chile relleno in a bean-and-huitlacoche sauce or a nicely seared sea bass on a bed of sautéed artichoke hearts. Dishes come and go, depending on the season, but some standards will always be present, such as a well-prepared tortilla soup and a delicious bean soup. The restaurant occupies the covered courtyard of a small luxury hotel called Casona de la China Poblana, which is across the street from the church of La Compañía.
