Templo de Nuestra Señora del Carmen

Description:

  • This church with beautiful mortar decoration was built in the XVII century by the Carmelites. From the outside is almost as beautiful as in the inside. The facade is colorful and strongly decorated.
In the inside the altar is a baldaquin with a beautiful image of Our Lady of Carmelite inside. The walls are decorated with talavera and big paintings with plasterwork frames.
The side chapel is octagonal with a fresco painted dome.
The plaza outside the church, is the perfect place to finish your day with a delicious "nieve".
